Delfo has been involved in veterans’ affairs in the City of Chicopee for decades and was the 2015 recipient of the Charles H. Tracy Award. An active member of many fraternal and veterans’ groups, he is currently serving as the President of Western Massachusetts Chapter one-eleven, Vietnam Veterans of America, Adjutant of Willimansett Post 353 the American Legion and Treasurer of the Veterans’ Memorial and Patriotic Committee of Chicopee. He also serves as Trustee for Elder Council # 69 The Knights of Columbus and the Daniel Doyle Assembly 2631 Fourth Degree, The Knights of Columbus.

 

He was Chairman of the By-Law review committee for The Friends and was the President from 2015 through 2018 and served as Vice President from 2018-2019. Delfo is currently serving as President for The Friends.
